Happy Easter!

The greatest thing for us this Easter weekend is RAIN! Yes - I know, not the typical thing that one would wish for on a long weekend, but we've been in a severe drought for months now and last night it rained up a storm. Hopefully our cistern will fill up a little more.

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter from St. Croix and may the weekend involve some relaxation, recuperation or exploration - wherever you may be! 

Wine Corkboard

Last year in August, I decided that I was going to start collecting the corks from the wine bottles we drank and make a little project out of them. A cork board was the obvious choice and I spread the word among my friends to start saving their corks for me too. 

After months of corks piling up in the spare bedroom, I decided that this was the day to start. Funnily enough, what seemed like a lot didnt turn out to be that much once we started crafting. 

So far, so good though...

Prenatal Photo shoot

Its been a while since I pulled out the camera, but when I was approached by Julianne (who is just days away from having her baby) for the possibility of some prenatal shots on the beach, I thought that it may be a good time to brush up on my photo taking/editing. 

She loved the results!
